Can I use any theme I want?

Yes, unless you are  a design/development client. We build exclusively with Divi. 

Also, all paid maintenance accounts include a free copy of Divi if you want it.

 

How can I get support?

Our ticket support is online 24 hours a day with a 1-hour response guarantee. Just click the Submit Ticket link in the top right corner of any page on our site.

Chat support is available from 7 AM – 11 PM CDT 7 days a week.

We also provide support via phone, video and screen share on an as needed basis.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We want to make using our service as easy as possible. That is why we have the most flexible payment options anywhere.

Do you support WordPress Multisite?

We support multisite sub-direcory setups on all plans. At this time we do not support subdomain multisite setups.

Will you move my site for me?

Absolutely! When you register, we will migrate your existing site to our servers at no extra charge to you.

If you ever decide to cancel, we will even migrate your site to your new host for free.

Can I use any plugin I want?

Yes. We use a specific set of default plugins that allow us to provide our services to you. If a plugin you are using interferes with these, you will be given 2 options:

1. Allow us to replace your plugin with ours (usually the best option)

2. Choose to keep your existing plugin instead of using ours. However, if you select option 2, please note that in some cases we may not be able to provide the related service, and/or the service may need to be adjusted to ensure the integrity of your site.

We reserve the right to ban any plugin at any time if it causes problems on our servers. So if you install a plugin that threatens the security, stability, or performance of our servers, we may remove it and ban it’s use.

 

 

How much support do you provide?

WP Top Hat exists to be your Total Website Management platform. Our support covers everything you need to keep your website fast, secure, and friendly.

Although our hosting plans do not incldue design and development service, we are happy to assist with small tasks like tweaking CSS on a page, optimizing images, etc.

We do provide full WordPress design services if you need a new site built. You can learn more about that HERE.

 

You really accept barter?

Absolutely! We love to trade our services for your services or products! So if you have a service or even a new or used physical product you would like to trade, click HERE for more info about our barter program.

What if I want to host somewhere else?

If you are happy with your current host, you are free to stay there. We can still provide maintenance for your site at discounted prices. 

However, due to the differences in various hosting platforms, your host may place restrictions that interfere with some of our services.

Where is my hosting control panel?

WP Top Hat does not provide clients with a hosting control panel like cPanel or Plesk. This is because the majority of our clients do want or need this access, as long as they can fully manage their website.

 

You will have full administrator access to your wp-admin as well as the Member Portal where you can access your account settings and freebies.

If your developer needs access to your site files, we can provide SFTP access upon request by the account owner.

What "Freebies" do you offer?

Everybody loves free stuff and we aim to please!~ We offer a wide range of premium plugins, themes, videos, and more to all of our members at no extra charge.

Free themes and plugins can be activated right inside your WP-Admin after the onboarding process is complete. The rest of your freebies and bonuses can be accessed by logging into your client portal.
