WordCamp Fayetteville has come to a close, and what an event it was! As far as WordCamps go, Fayetteville is a fairly small one. But it is also one of my favorite WordCamps by far. The venue at the University Of Arkansas is a beautiful one with some amazing architecture throughout the campus.

Our live stream of the event did experience some technical issues due to a firewall block on the University network that would not allow us to stream on YouTube. However, we were able to find a solution by changing the event to FaceBook Live instead. We live streamed a few great sessions, as well as some awesome interviews with speakers, sponsors, and attendees.  Keep following our blog for a post that will include all of our videos from Fayetteville.

For me, one of the best sessions was “WordPress & Facebook: Integration & Automation – Tips, Tricks & Tools for Success” by Travis Pflanz. Travis is a great speaker and the information he conveyed was very enlightening. Make sure you watch that video HERE.

My interview with Jamie Smith, one of the organizers, as well as a sponsor, is also worth a watch HERE.

This was the 9th year of WordCamp Fayetteville, and year 10 should prove to be another very momentous occasion in the WordPress community! Hopefully next year we can avoid the live stream problem we had this year!
